I use this to post random pictures I take, random stories I write, vent & of course to  "express myself". I try to write something worthwhile sometimes. I ramble a lot.. I like to have an outlet. This is just the junk in my head.

Why livejournal?
I like to read what other people have to say... People I can relate to, whether we're alike or have a lot of differences. I like to read life stories, as it's happening & get inside other people's heads.

Today is my chihuahua Ringo Starr's 3rd birthday. =] Since I have a looong work day ahead of me today, I am unable to properly document it, so here's some old pictures to celebrate. <3

I  loved it the minute I seen it. . People don't always see the hard work that you are putting into something... They don't always see the broken toe nails & sore pressure points but if you work hard towards something - they are there.

Things that have made this week better &  not worse:

FALL... (Crisp air, no bugs, enlightened senses.. not to mention Halloween.) Movie nights. Weed with neon yellow hairs. Adding to my scarf collection. Supreme veggie pizza. M,mm. Dry Shampoo. Head Changes. Sweet boyfriend that makes me want to squeeze out his insides. Giving someone a hair cut & style they loooove. Finding the perfect nude lipstick. Dressing up plain clothing with ribbons & bows. Iced Tea. Season Premieres. Being productive = the fact I almost-finally have my closet jewelry-accessories-shoes-stockings-scarves-&-all organized. Random I-Miss-You txt messages. Burning balls of optimism that I can't get out of my brain.

• 08:32 Slightly Hungover but more TIRED. Headed to work. Opening@ the salon. Totally worth it. Lovin life with sore legs & zombified eyes. #

Busy, busy, busy bee! 

I've had no time lately but I haven't abandoned livejournal. =]
Hopefully I will be able to work regular updates into my schedule again soon. Until then - feel free to check my twitter if you get curious to what I've been up to.

I'm tired of hearing about people freaking out because a specific flu virus is becoming a "pandemic". It's also annoying to see people being snotty & saying "OMGZ STFU" about it whenever someone else mentions it, too. It is not a "killer" virus but it does realllllly suck getting the flu.

But seriously.... LOLZ. Did you know that SEASONAL flu kills about 36,000 in the United States in one year? 200,000 are hospitalized. I think that really puts any of these Swine/Bird Flu scares into perspective.

I think it's always really important to avoid contagions & to disinfect your house on a regular basis. Especially things like doorknobs, showers, water facets, light switches. Anything that you touch on a regular basis. I carry a travel size bottle of Germ-X in my purse & in my car. Not to mention the 2-3 bottles we have in multiple locations of the house.

But regardless, sometimes you still get sick & there are very few things that you can't deal with if you do catch.
